know. You didn’t want the change,
but they left and you had to go…

Three promises we made, under
a church door, thought nothing
would ever be the same.

a gift to the world anyone could see.
We laughed and played,

I met her at the movies…
she and her daughter opened the door for
me on the way out.

I clowned a little, took in
the spotlight,
the carpet was red, feel like

wearing on the red carpet today?”

Hollywood, Pasadena, we knew
we were good, not good enough, she folded her tents
like the Arabs, and as
silently stole away…

It was a Thursday, she left
after a final date,
impossible so every day I

before GOD, to win the
kingdom
in this LIFE, you gotta be
GREAT!
